Meet Fabian Rocamora: The Project Manager Who Speaks Insurance

Fabian Rocamora is a project manager at True Roofers with over five years in the industry, and his specialty is the part homeowners dread most: insurance claims. His approach, in his own words, is to take the customer's hand and show them the whole process of how it works, starting with finding the damage and explaining what comes next.

The jobs he loves are the big ones: putting roofs back on after hurricanes and major wind storms with quality, GAF-approved materials. Why he stays is simpler: working with the community, the customers, and the team, "because we love people." Customers return the compliment; Fabian is thanked by name in our Google reviews.

How the insurance side of a roof job really works

Fabian works hand in hand with insurance claims, and it is worth understanding what that means, because it is a process with rules, not a magic wand.

  • It starts with real damage, documented: inspection photos, dates, and a written scope of what the storm did
  • You file the claim; your contractor supplies the evidence and can meet the adjuster on the roof to walk it together
  • The insurer decides coverage. An honest roofer maximizes documentation, never invents damage, and tells you when a claim is not worth filing
  • Once approved, the scope is the contract: the roof gets rebuilt to what was agreed, with quality materials, and the paperwork closes the loop
  • Beware anyone who promises approval before an adjuster has seen anything, or offers to "cover your deductible": both are red flags Florida homeowners should run from
