The Macca Kitchen: A Face Lift That Reads Brand New
This customer wanted her kitchen redone, updated, and modern, with the adjacent laundry room refreshed to match. The result is the details she lists with delight: the ice maker, the wine cooler that glows when the light is on, the colors that make the kitchen modern, and the finished detail True Builders put on the sides of the cabinets that makes the whole room look upgraded.
Her experience, in her words: "Everyone from A to Z took great effort making it seamless," and she is already planning which rooms they will do next.
The finish details that make a kitchen look custom
Two kitchens with the same budget can read a decade apart, and the difference is almost always in the finishing details, exactly the ones this customer noticed.
- Finished end panels on exposed cabinet sides, instead of bare carcass material
- Crown or a clean flush top line where cabinets meet the ceiling
- Under-cabinet lighting that makes counters usable and the room feel designed
- Hardware in one consistent finish, sized to the door, not the sample board
- Appliance garages and built-in niches for the ice maker or wine cooler you actually use
Making the rooms around a remodel match
A remodeled kitchen next to an untouched laundry room announces its own boundary. This project's move, refreshing the adjacent room in the same palette and materials, is the fix, and it is cheap while the crew is already on site. Carry the flooring through, repeat the cabinet color or counter material, and match the hardware. The eye reads continuity as intentional design, and the whole floor benefits from one room's budget.
